Job Description

Senior Development Operations Officer advancing climate, energy, and nature programs at Meliore Foundation. Leading reporting, partner engagement, project coordination, and strategic communications across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program and strategically aligned partners’ reporting strategy
  • Support programs and strategically aligned partners in meeting compliance requirements
  • Lead complex, multi-stream projects to ensure institutional alignment and consistency
  • Maintain document quality assurance through templates and writing standards
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to prepare and staff key external meetings
  • Direct development of talking points, briefings, and other essential materials
  • Develop systems for maintaining partner profiles, FAQs, and interaction histories
  • Support development and execution of a comprehensive communications strategy
  • Research and identify new strategic opportunities relevant to programs and partners
  • Perform other duties assigned from time to time
  • Report to the Head of Development Operations
  • Coordinate across programme and operational teams to strengthen engagement, quality assurance, stakeholder stewardship, and process improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, specifically as an operations manager and/or project coordinator/manager
  • Proven experience in partner or stakeholder engagement and developing complex project plans
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Experience utilizing or implementing CRM systems to track partner engagement and improve operational workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively across time zones
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an asset
  • Genuine interest in and passion for addressing climate change
  • Disposition to work generously with colleagues in a high-trust global community
  • Versatile and adaptable skills for a fast-paced, wide-ranging work environment
  • Experience working across time zones using Zoom, Slack, email, and Google Workspace
