Job Description

Senior Director leading Specialty Insights programs for Cencora, a global pharmaceutical solutions company. Managing healthcare market research, KOL relationships, budgets, teams, and client-facing delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, conduct, and supervise assignments; review progress and evaluate results
  • Develop professional relationships with key opinion leaders for market insight functions
  • Manage the Specialty Insights portfolio and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
  • Support information exchange to meet timelines and milestones
  • Establish workflows to meet program goals
  • Prioritize team and project work and adjust resources as appropriate
  • Liaise with health care professionals, professional organizations, advocacy groups, and life sciences companies
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to complete work efficiently
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Develop action plans to advance projects and resolve conflicts and root causes
  • Identify changes in project scope and take appropriate action with internal team members and clients
  • Manage the department operating budget
  • Review content contributed by direct reports and project team members
  • Maintain staffing through recruiting, selection, orientation, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years clinical experience in a specialty therapeutic area, including Oncology
  • For a pharmaceutical specialty, 7+ years’ experience in a health system pharmacy
  • Extensive related-field experience with an appropriate medical degree such as MD, PhD, RN, NP, and/or PharmD
  • For a pharmaceutical specialty, graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education program with pharmacy licensure in good standing
  • Board Certification in a clinical specialty recognized by the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties
  • Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience
  • Deep expertise in a specialized field and advanced knowledge applicable to complex, high-impact assignments
  • Experience developing and implementing healthcare provider-based programs
  • Experience conducting and executing primary market research
  • Well-developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in medical writing and presenting scientific/technical information
  • Solid teamwork and collaboration/negotiation skills
