Job Description

Senior People Partner owning HR strategy across M-KOPA’s product and global functions. Supporting talent, organisation design, managers, analytics and employee relations across UK or Nigeria.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the people agenda for the Product organisation and a set of global functions
  • Partner with product, design and digital lending leaders
  • Support fraud, workplaces, impact, and corporate communications and marketing teams across multiple markets and operating models
  • Contribute to team transformations, workforce planning, and structural change
  • Develop the people management standard across the portfolio
  • Implement approaches to attract, develop, and retain product, design, and analytics talent
  • Use people analytics to turn data into insight and action
  • Manage employee relations cases, partnering with the ER Centre of Excellence on complex matters
  • Reinforce M-KOPA’s values through performance, development, feedback loops, and rituals
  • Collaborate closely with the Lead People Partner for Technology

Requirements:

  • HR business partnering experience with senior leaders in a scaling technology, fintech or high-growth business, with portfolio ownership
  • Exposure to product, design, marketing or analytics teams, and understanding of how they are built, motivated and retained
  • Comfortable moving between very different teams, including design and fraud operations
  • Comfortable shaping longer-term plans and delivering day-to-day work
  • Experience supporting cross-cultural teams across multiple regions
  • Uses data, influence and judgement to advise leaders on trade-offs and risks
  • Confident handling employee relations matters across more than one jurisdiction
  • Europe/UK exposure is a plus, not a requirement
