Job Description

Senior Sales Engineer partnering with sales team to drive growth in EMEA. Leading technical conversations and showcasing the power of Pantheon’s platform to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical sales engagements from discovery through close, partnering closely with Account Executives.
  • Deliver compelling, tailored product demonstrations that articulate Pantheon’s business and technical value.
  • Own the technical win — diagnose challenges, align solutions to customer needs, and remove barriers to adoption.
  • Guide prospects through RFPs, RFIs, and security reviews with precision and professionalism.
  • Advise customers on best practices for web architecture, workflow, and performance optimization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, shaping long-term customer success and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to inform GTM strategy and influence the roadmap.
  • Mentor fellow Sales Engineers, contributing to onboarding, enablement, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Represent Pantheon within the broader technical community — contributing to thought leadership and field enablement.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a customer-facing technical role within SaaS or enterprise software.
  • Proven ability to drive technical wins and revenue impact in complex, consultative sales cycles.
  • Strong technical acumen across modern web infrastructure, CMS, and development workflows (WordPress, Drupal, Next.js, headless).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills — able to translate technical value for business and technical audiences alike.
  • Deep curiosity and a growth mindset; comfortable navigating ambiguity and learning continuously.
  • Collaborative, team-first approach with a bias for action and measurable outcomes.
  • Based in Dublin or London; willing to travel 30–50% across EMEA.
