Job Description

Senior Email Engineer responsible for email lifecycle management and marketing automation using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Leading migration efforts from Adobe Marketo and ensuring high email performance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable email templates and modular design systems within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and cross client compatible email solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AMPscript.
  • Own the technical execution of multi touch campaigns and nurture programs, collaborating closely with marketing stakeholders.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, deliverability, and performance through rigorous QA processes and email testing tools.
  • Contribute to the migration effort from Adobe Marketo to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, supporting architectural decisions and best practices.
  • Adapt to changing priorities while maintaining technical excellence and long term system stability.

Requirements:

  • Strong hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing automation platforms.
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML for email, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Deep expertise in responsive email layouts, AMPscript for personalization and logic, and email accessibility standards.
  • Proven experience with email testing and QA tools such as Litmus, ensuring compatibility across major email clients.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and executing multi touch campaigns and nurture program architectures.
  • Prior experience with Adobe Marketo, including certification or Adobe Marketo Engage Expert level exposure.
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced, Salesforce Actions, and Salesforce Lightning.
  • Familiarity with templating languages such as Velocity or Handlebars, modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular, and structured email design systems.
  • Experience with internationalization and localization, usability testing, and experimentation focused on email performance optimization.
