Job Description

Senior Strategic Partnerships Executive at Primax driving strategic growth through high-value partnerships in payments solutions. Collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and represent Primax at industry events.

Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Strategic Partnerships Executive – Primax drives strategic growth through high-value partnerships in credit, debit, and payment solutions.
  • This role owns the end-to-end partnership lifecycle—from market prospecting and executive engagement to deal execution and implementation oversight—while collaborating across internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Help build and establish strong relationships with prospective partners, demonstrate executive presence with C-suite executive stakeholders, and deliver value to prospects by effectively communicating Primax's value to decision makers and influencers.
  • Identify and qualify potential partners for Primax’s payment, and card program solutions suite and other ancillary services.
  • Grow existing partner relationships through cross-selling and upselling additional services such as portfolio optimization, fraud solutions, and digital enhancements.
  • Manage portions of the partnership cycle, including discovery calls, product overviews, and proposal preparation, under guidance from senior leadership.
  • Stay current on banking trends, payment innovations, and compliance requirements to position Primax as a trusted advisor.
  • Represent Primax at banking conferences, trade shows, and industry events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Work closely with the pricing and legal teams to structure and negotiate agreements that meet client needs while maintaining profitability.
  • Ensure a smooth hand-off of new clients to Account Executives for ongoing relationship management.

Requirements:

  • Twelve (12+) years of partnership experience in the payments, banking, or credit union industry required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Consulting, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
