Job Description

Skills Coach guiding HR professionals in their People Professional Apprenticeships at KnowledgeBrief. Providing coaching, development support, and facilitating learning for senior HR roles.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert coaching, guidance, and motivation to adult learners enrolled in the Level 7 People Professional Apprenticeship
  • Develop tailored learning plans, ensuring structured progression from each learner’s starting point
  • Integrate on-the-job and off-the-job learning, supporting learners to apply strategic HR principles effectively
  • Offer additional support and catch-up strategies to meet individual learner needs
  • Engage line managers in the learner’s progress through regular tripartite reviews
  • Prepare learners for end-point assessment, ensuring they are fully equipped for success
  • Ensure learners meet apprenticeship off-the-job learning requirements and achieve their learning outcomes
  • Proactively re-engage learners who may be falling behind, supporting them to progress
  • Participate in Apprenticeship Team and Standardisation meetings, contributing to the continuous improvement of our coaching practices
  • Foster a passion for learning, engaging with professionals across diverse industries

Requirements:

  • Level 5 or 7 qualification in HR (ideal)
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring senior HR professionals (ideal)
  • Previous work in the apprenticeship sector (highly desirable)
  • Experience in delivering Level 7 People Professional apprenticeships (highly desirable)
  • Recognised teaching qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Membership of a relevant professional body (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong understanding of HR strategy, leadership, and applied people management
