Job Description
Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician supporting medication preparation and dispensing in a remote role. Conducting administrative tasks and ensuring adherence to operational processes.
Responsibilities:
- supports Pharmacists in Specialty Rx medication preparation by dispensing Specialty Rx medications
- performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments
- performs computations
- typically works on semi-routine assignments
- may contact physicians for prescriptions clarification and may enter prescription orders into the system
- ensures adherence to Specialty Rx specific operational processes and programs developed to optimize health outcomes and effective communication with patients and providers
Requirements:
- Must have an active license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
