Job Description

Strategic Account Manager for automotive electronics focusing on account management and business growth in Europe. Collaborating with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers on adhesive solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the automotive electronics market segment
  • Combining management of existing accounts with leading global growth strategies
  • Working closely with OEMs and Tier‑1 suppliers to deliver differentiated adhesive solutions for control units, in‑vehicle infotainment (IVI), advanced driver‑assistance systems (ADAS), and other automotive electronics applications
  • Developing strategy and an account plan for short and long term to defend and grow the account
  • Identifying customer needs and translating into opportunities
  • 20% of time focused on growth with existing customers
  • 50% of time focused on growth with new customers

Requirements:

  • Expertise in automotive electronics applications such as control units, IVI, ADAS, and related systems
  • Strong working knowledge of automotive standards (ISO, IATF) and reliability testing requirements
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
  • STEM Degree preferred
  • Hands-on experience with adhesive technologies including conformal coatings, thermal management, potting, structural bonding, underfill, and encapsulation materials
  • Basic legal and European chemical’s regulation knowledge
  • Strong negotiation skills
