Job Description

SVP of Operations scaling Flourish Health’s team-based youth mental healthcare nationally. Building operational systems across clinical, people, payer, compliance, and patient acquisition functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the operational organization that enables Flourish to scale nationally while preserving care quality, culture, and humanity
  • Serve as a member of Flourish's senior leadership team and ensure operational infrastructure scales ahead of company growth
  • Oversee People Operations, Clinical Operations, Licensing & Compliance, Credentialing, Patient Acquisition, and Payer Operations
  • Develop leaders, establish accountability across functions, and create scalable operating systems and cadence
  • Partner with the CEO and leaders across Clinical, Growth, Product, Finance, and Strategy to anticipate operational needs and translate strategy into capability
  • Lead People Operations through the Director of People Operations, including workforce planning, recruiting, leadership development, performance management, organizational design, and employee experience
  • Ensure clinical teams have infrastructure for practice management, clinician onboarding, carepod support, and performance metrics
  • Oversee licensing, compliance, and credentialing; anticipate regulatory risks and build scalable systems
  • Oversee Payer Operations to translate health-plan contracts into reliable operational and financial performance
  • Oversee Patient Acquisition and company KPIs, including growing admissions by 15% month over month and expanding access to care within 7 days
  • Build an evolving operations organization with leadership layers, systems, accountability, and operating cadence

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including significant responsibility for complex operational organizations
  • Experience scaling operations at a high-growth startup or similarly fast-growing organization, ideally through multiple stages of company growth
  • Experience leading multiple functions and senior functional leaders, with a demonstrated ability to build an effective leadership bench
  • Exceptional people leadership, including a track record of developing managers into leaders and leaders into executives
  • Strong organizational design instincts and the ability to evolve structures, roles, and accountability as a company grows
  • Excellent operational judgment, with the ability to identify bottlenecks, simplify complexity, and distinguish root causes from symptoms
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with strong business intuition and a habit of using metrics to understand and improve organizational performance
  • Demonstrated ability to translate company strategy and growth plans into operational requirements, capabilities, and execution
  • Comfortable moving between long-term strategy and hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding executive communication skills and the ability to build trust and influence effectively across functions
  • Strong project and program management discipline, particularly across complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience in healthcare operations strongly preferred, particularly in multi-state environments involving clinical operations, licensing, compliance, credentialing, or payer operations
  • Must be at least 18 years old
