Job Description
Head of Business Development for D2C health brand edubily, leading a team and driving growth strategies. Focused on strategic partnerships and retail channel development.
Responsibilities:
- With this newly created position, we anchor Business Development as a central growth function at edubily.
- As Head of Business Development you will lead an existing team of two Key Account Managers.
- You will strategically help build out the retail division and place a clear focus on growth.
- You will work on the major levers, develop partnerships on equal footing, and shape the strategic direction of our brands.
- You will take overall responsibility for edubily's growth strategy and derive clear growth priorities and focus areas from it.
- You will structure, evaluate, and prioritize revenue levers in line with our company goals – fact-based and with an eye on scalability.
- You will strategically manage all brands in the portfolio (edubily as the core brand, Vitasauri and future brands) and ensure clear roles, positioning, and a coherent brand logic.
- You will define and develop our go-to-market strategies for D2C, marketplaces, retail, and partnerships.
Requirements:
- You have proven experience in strategic Business Development in the D2C space, ideally in the supplement, food, FMCG, or health industries.
- You can clearly structure, evaluate, and prioritize growth levers and do not get lost in activity for activity’s sake.
- You bring strong business case skills and can realistically assess revenue potential, resource needs, and risks.
- You have experience building and managing strategic partnerships and key accounts.
- You have at least 3–4 years of leadership experience and can lead teams clearly, pragmatically, and with focus on goals.
- You think entrepreneurially, make data-driven decisions, and take responsibility for results.
- You have a good understanding of go-to-market models in D2C, retail, and B2B and know which approaches work where.
- You can communicate complex topics clearly and translate strategic guardrails into the organization in an understandable way.
- You work in a structured way, prioritize consistently, and have strong execution skills, even without doing everything operationally yourself.
- You are curious, market- and trend-aware, and eager to build sustainable long-term growth — not just for the next quarter.
