Job Description
Technical Account Manager supporting enterprise customers by providing technical mentorship and collaboration at Red Hat. Ensures efficient technical environments and engages with various internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized, attentive support and mentorship to enterprise customers
- Build high-value relationships to understand IT infrastructures, business needs, and internal processes
- Ensure customers have access to solutions for efficient technical environments
- Collaborate with internal teams like Support Delivery, Engineering, and Product Management
- Conduct technical investigations of customer issues and troubleshoot solutions
- Manage customer cases and documentation
- Deliver training and presentations to customer associates
- Engage with Red Hat’s engineering teams and analyze operational performance
Requirements:
- Prior professional experience in a support, development, engineering, or quality assurance (QA) organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
- Ability to manage and grow existing enterprise customer relationships
- Growth mindset and willingness to learn
- Deep technical knowledge of core IT technologies such as DNS, DHCP, storage, networking, Linux kernel namespaces, CGroups, SELinux, containerization, and virtualization
- Knowledge of application development, application troubleshooting, debugging, and tuning
- Excellent understanding of software development practices and continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines
