Job Description

Territory Manager expanding CooperSurgical’s specialty surgery sales across Columbia and Greenville. Calling on surgeons, operating-room teams, and administrators while achieving territory goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and expand sales in the OR Business Unit to existing and new accounts
  • Meet assigned territory sales goals and satisfy customer needs
  • Make sales calls to surgeons of various specialties, operating room management, nursing and administration
  • Communicate the benefits of CooperSurgical products for surgical practices and operating rooms
  • Compile and submit complete, timely weekly and monthly sales and activity reports to the Regional Manager
  • Plan and execute the sales plan to achieve territory sales and business goals
  • Complete product and surgical application training
  • Demonstrate clinical and product knowledge, instrumentation assembly, use, clinical application and maintenance competency
  • Communicate and train physicians, nursing personnel, and cleaning and sterilization personnel on proper product use and maintenance
  • Perform other duties assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 1-3 years of documented and verifiable sales experience, preferably within the hospital/OR environment
  • Documented ability to grow sales in previous sales positions
  • Satisfactory and positive responses from business and personal references
  • Must maintain medical documentation and a good documented health profile to comply with customer requirements within the territory
  • Must have a valid drivers license
  • Must complete product and surgical application training requirements
  • Must pass interim and final examinations
  • Must maintain up-to-date certification of training in Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives, Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, and HIPPA regulations
  • Must be willing to travel and work independently, including overnight travel as necessary, within the territory
