Job Description

Territory Sales Manager driving genomics sales across South-West Germany for IDT, a custom oligonucleotide manufacturer. Managing accounts, pipelines, and strategic customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue growth across key regions
  • Build strategic customer relationships
  • Execute sales initiatives contributing to EMEA organization success
  • Develop and manage assigned accounts strategically to deliver solutions, drive revenue growth, and achieve sales targets
  • Research and understand territory growth opportunities
  • Develop effective business plans and sales strategies
  • Use CRM and funnel management tools to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and support business decisions
  • Maintain regular communications with team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Application Scientists, Inside Sales, and others
  • Cover the regions of South-West Germany remotely

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in a Life Science field or Bachelor’s degree with relevant Life Sciences
  • Several years of successful sales experience with a proven track record
  • Residing in the assigned region
  • Extensive familiarity with existing academic, corporate, and government accounts in the region
  • Basic genomics knowledge
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Applications experience within NGS, qPCR, cloning, mutagenesis, etc. preferred
  • Working knowledge of accounts in assigned territory preferred
  • Prospecting, territory management, lead management, negotiation and closing skills preferred
  • Ability to coach less senior team members preferred
