Job Description
Territory Sales Manager responsible for selling KLN branded products in the Midwest region. Achieving sales goals through territory management and customer relations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a minimum of 15 in person calls per week.
- Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company products or services while on site.
- Penetrate all target accounts and develop incremental growth with current customers.
- Seek new accounts to open and grow the business.
- Expand growth in all categories of our product catalog.
- Develop a working knowledge of the industry and our products to deliver our unique selling propositions and overcome objections.
- Participate in joint meetings with distributor representatives to uncover new market opportunities and relay current brand strategies.
- Participate in occasional “ride alongs” with distributor reps to foster good distributor relationships and creative new business opportunities.
- Build and foster a network of referrals, industry relations and professional organizations to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
- CRM reporting accurate and timely, full utilization.
- Make front line assessments of industry conditions and advise Sales Management of findings.
- Oversee in-store demos and events.
- Oversee promotional activities to increase brand awareness and strengthen local retailer partnerships.
- Build and maintain ongoing knowledge base of competitors’ products, marketing programs and pricing.
- Manage personnel and expenditures within assigned territory.
- Night and weekend hours as deemed necessary by Management.
- Complete other work as designated by the Regional Manager.
Requirements:
- University or college degree in Sales, Marketing, Business – or – 3 years of direct work experience in the field of Sales, Marketing or Business Management.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospective buyers and close deals while achieving sales goals.
- CRM experience is a Plus.

- Must possess valid driver’s license and pass criminal background check.
- Attend and contribute to KLN mandated functions and meetings.
- Maintain and monitor confidential company information.
- Able to work in a general office environment and at tradeshows.
