Job Description

Vertical Market Manager developing sales strategies in the Food and Beverage market for innovative industrial solutions. Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers and driving business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for finding sales and closing sales opportunities in the targeted market
  • Develop a sales plan that achieves sales objectives
  • Maintain and support relationships at the corporate level with key end users, OEM’s and specifying entities
  • Work with EPC/Engineering firms to successfully integrate Rittal into design specifications
  • Close sales on the identified projects
  • Ensure the sale is closed on each project
  • Build relationships with executive management in the customer base

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
  • Five years of experience in industrial equipment/services field sales
  • Extensive knowledge of F&B market, technologies, requirements, applications
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including advanced knowledge and experience with Excel and Power Point
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time
