Job Description

Account Executive developing B2B opportunities for Convo’s accessible communication services. Managing prospecting, discovery, demonstrations, negotiation, and customer handoffs remotely across the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue qualified business opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, networking, industry events, social media, and existing customer networks
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified sales opportunities through prospecting, market research, and relationship building
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand customer goals, accessibility needs, workflows, utilization expectations, purchasing requirements, and business challenges
  • Manage the full sales cycle from product demonstrations and presentations through proposals, negotiations, and contract execution
  • Achieve established sales, revenue, pipeline, and activity goals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective customers throughout the sales process
  • Ensure a successful transition to the Partner Success Manager following contract execution
  • Collaborate on implementation planning and identify renewal or expansion opportunities
  • Coordinate with Customer Success, Support, Product, Marketing, and other internal teams
  • Gather customer and market feedback to improve products, services, and sales strategies
  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and contract information in the CRM
  • Prepare pipeline updates, forecasts, activity reports, and other sales reporting
  • Maintain current knowledge of products, services, pricing, and customer resources
  • Represent Convo at conferences, trade shows, customer meetings, networking opportunities, and community events
  • Communicate Convo’s mission and commitment to accessible communication
  • Build relationships with organizations and communities that may benefit from Convo’s products and services
  • Foster diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in customer interactions

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional sales, business development, or account management experience
  • Experience managing a B2B sales process from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and close
  • Ability to develop new business opportunities and build lasting customer relationships
  • Experience conducting customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and contract discussions
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and clearly communicate product and service value
  • Experience using a CRM platform such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or a similar system
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities, customers, priorities, and deadlines
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and maintain accountability for assigned goals
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote and fast-moving environment
  • Ability to handle customer, contractual, financial, and organizational information confidentially and professionally
  • Fluency in American Sign Language
  • Lived, professional, or community experience within the Deaf and/or hard of hearing community
  • Ability to travel periodically for customer meetings, conferences, and industry events
  • Valid passport for travel
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule when business needs require
  • Preferred: experience in B2B, SaaS, technology, telecommunications, accessibility, language-access, or service-based sales
  • Preferred: experience selling to healthcare, finance, education, government, retail, or professional-services organizations
  • Preferred: experience managing complex or enterprise accounts with multiple stakeholders
  • Preferred: familiarity with consultative, solution-based, or relationship-based selling methodologies
  • Preferred: experience supporting retention, renewals, and expansion opportunities
  • Preferred: knowledge of accessibility practices and communication needs of Deaf and hard of hearing individuals and communities
