Job Description

Commercial Insurance Account Manager providing service for a commercial book of business. Collaborating with producers and clients to ensure excellent service and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage day-to-day service responsibilities for a commercial book of business
  • Partner with producers to develop, coordinate, and support service plans for key accounts
  • Deliver exceptional ongoing service by preparing proposals, issuing certificates and auto ID cards, processing endorsements, audits, binders
  • Ensure timely invoicing of all premium-bearing transactions
  • Review policies upon receipt to ensure accuracy
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client questions and service requests
  • Review client contracts and recommend coverage modifications to meet contractual requirements
  • Communicate clearly and consistently with producers, clients, carriers, and internal team members
  • Maintain complete and accurate electronic account files
  • Effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Support producers in identifying and eliminating coverage gaps
  • Participate in quality reviews and comply with agency quality and compliance programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Handle highly sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
  • Continuously build technical knowledge through training, publications, seminars, and industry resources
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance and contribute positively to the team

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • An active Resident Property and Casualty Agent's license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and agency management systems; Applied Epic experience is a plus
  • Three (3) or more years of Commercial lines insurance experience
