Job Description
Account Manager growing facial aesthetics practices for AbbVie’s Allergan Aesthetics portfolio. Building clinic partnerships, driving territory sales and supporting healthcare professionals with aesthetics products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key facial aesthetics accounts
- Develop executable quarterly account plans with clear objectives and outcomes
- Review account plans using sales data, customer segmentation information and market intelligence
- Execute customer segmentation and call-planning activities
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve account-management objectives and sales targets
- Review monthly customer buying patterns and communicate targeted levels against account or volume aspirations
- Build stakeholder maps covering prescribers/users, initiators, deciders and buyers
- Align account plans with cycle marketing strategy and promotional programs
- Execute current marketing campaigns using compliant support materials
- Analyse patient journeys to identify sales and marketing opportunities
- Monitor market trends through clients, suppliers and industry meetings
- Conduct market analysis and monitor product availability
- Use digital sales aids to present product selling messages and clinical data
- Execute third-line sales requirements under the Medical Aesthetics portfolio strategy
- Provide product support and direction for toxins and fillers
- Support best-practice patient consultation and assessment
- Direct injector requests for clinical facilitation through the VEEVA process
- Maintain therapeutic knowledge through the internal six-monthly certification program
- Maintain accurate weekly customer-visit records and customer data in VEEVA
- Attend sales meetings, conferences, training and other work-related functions
- Ensure sales activities comply with legal and ethical requirements
- Manage business expenses within budget and policy
- Report adverse events within 24 hours
- Support AbbVie’s Quality Management System and internal auditing processes
- Adhere to Medicines Australia Code of Conduct, WHS programs and internal compliance processes
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties as requested
Requirements:
- Successful completion of relevant tertiary qualifications within healthcare or business related discipline
- Demonstrable experience in account management planning methodology, including stakeholder mapping, sales data analysis, account prioritization and the sales cycle
- Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in a medical device or specialty representative selling role within the medical device/pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to learn and maintain scientific product knowledge, relevant anatomy and physiology, and disease state knowledge
- Broad therapeutic area knowledge and ability to discuss new treatment options, research findings and conference topics
- Demonstrable experience working in cross-functional teams and managing resources to achieve objectives
- Ability to occasionally participate in business meetings outside standard hours in an international, matrixed environment
- Compliance with legal, ethical, quality, safety and business-integrity requirements
