Job Description

Account Manager focused on driving GMV growth for SMB sellers at eBay. Engaging with B2C sellers to optimize listings and enhance platform performance during a year-long collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the commercial performance and GMV growth across an assigned book of business, acting as a trusted advisor throughout a year-long engagement
  • Ensure all listings are optimized for discoverability and conversion through strong titles, item specifics, pricing, imagery, and inventory depth
  • Lead structured monthly business reviews with every seller, translating performance insights into clear growth strategies and execution plans
  • Use data and performance insights to prioritize actions that deliver the highest commercial impact
  • Communicate the progress of business initiatives to internal and external partners, and provide multi-level performance reporting
  • Support sellers via email, phone, and virtual meetings, addressing questions and providing insights
  • Collaborate with internal partners to onboard new clients, solve challenges, and deliver a seamless seller experience
  • Stay up-to-date on eBay marketplace trends and advocate for your clients’ needs within the organization.

Requirements:

  • 2–3+ years of experience in account management, client services, customer success, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated success delivering revenue growth in a commercially driven environment
  • Confident presenter able to lead structured performance conversations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative and strategic mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering measurable results
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and productivity tools (e.g., Salesforce, GSuite, etc.)
  • Experience in eCommerce, marketplace platforms, or B2C sales is a plus.
