Job Description
Account Manager selling corrosion-control products and services for fire sprinkler systems. Managing contractor relationships and a Cleveland-area territory with up to 75% regional travel.
Responsibilities:
- Build long-lasting relationships as an expert trusted adviser to fire sprinkler contractor customers
- Ensure client needs are the number one priority and provide white-glove service
- Understand customer needs through discovery and fact-finding
- Identify and prioritize high-payoff sales activities
- Remain accountable to established internal and external KPIs
- Grow an existing book of business within an established sales territory
- Track and update sales activities in Salesforce
- Travel regionally within the territory, up to 75%
- Present technical solutions to a variety of customers
- Help customers understand and manage corrosion risks in fire sprinkler systems
- Sell corrosion control products and corrosion management services
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in technical sales
- Demonstrable track record of success
- Passion for building long-lasting relationships with fire sprinkler contractor customers
- Diligent, self-motivated, and determined
- Ability to understand customer needs through discovery and fact-finding
- Ability to identify and prioritize high-payoff sales activities
- Ability to grow an existing book of business within an established sales territory
- Ability to track and update sales activities in Salesforce
- Ability to travel regionally within the territory, up to 75%
- Ability to present technical solutions to a variety of customers
- Must be based within the Cleveland, Ohio area or willing to relocate
- Technical sales experience is listed as preferred
