Job Description
Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist providing financial support to startup clients. Taking ownership of revenue cycle operations in a fully remote role.
Responsibilities:
- Managing end-to-end revenue operations — from generating quotes and invoices to tracking receivables and ensuring timely collections.
- Taking ownership of client accounts receivable: reconciling discrepancies, improving collection timelines, and increasing efficiency.
- Collaborating with the broader accounting team to support accurate and timely revenue reporting.
- Working with and optimizing platforms critical to the revenue cycle — especially QuickBooks Online and Stripe.
- Identifying and implementing scalable process improvements for smoother revenue ops workflows.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients on billing, invoices, and payment statuses.
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Revenue Operations at U.S.-based companies.
- Proven experience managing the full revenue cycle, from quoting/invoicing to cash collections.
- Familiarity with startup accounting practices and balancing best practices with evolving priorities.
- Extremely strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Stripe.
- Bonus: familiarity with Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Mercury, Chase, Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, and ClickUp.
- Full professional fluency in English.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially around complex financial topics.
- A strong self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
- High coachability, strong sense of ownership, and bias for action.
- Meticulous attention to detail and high integrity.
- Ability to quickly shift between independent tasks and team collaboration.
- General awareness of how AI is being used in accounting and operations (a plus).
