Job Description
Area Sales Coordinator responsible for building relationships and increasing sales targets. Managing vehicle inspections and documentation within assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes, develops, and nurtures business relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Directly responsible for building dealer consignment.
- Increase buyer attendance and hitting sales targets.
- Use a relationship-based approach to assist customers with auction needs.
- Complete vehicle condition reports at customer dealerships.
- Conduct walk-around inspections and take multiple photos of vehicles.
- Prepare support documentation related to vehicle condition.
- Spend most of the time making local customer site visits.
- Ensure adherence to work instructions/procedures regarding inspections/documentation.
- Follow all applicable safety and health-related procedures.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of progressive customer-focused/relationship-based sales experience.
- Previous auto auction experience preferred.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- At least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Basic PC skills, Typing/Data Entry, Internet, and MS Office.
- Ability to drive and work in adverse weather conditions.
- Diagnostic Skills.
