Job Description

Area Sales Manager growing KALO’s heating billing, optimization, and Smart-Heating solutions. Managing B2B accounts and new customer acquisition across the Nord-Ost service region.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and advise existing B2B customers in the territory between Rostock, Neuruppin, and Ludwigslust
  • Expand existing KALO services in the core business of heating cost billing
  • Identify relevant modernization opportunities in heating optimization
  • Actively acquire new customers in the professional residential property management sector
  • Market KALO’s complete solutions portfolio, including Smart Heating technologies
  • Conduct systematic market and potential analyses
  • Independently identify and qualify new target customers, projects, and regional growth opportunities
  • Drive cross-selling and upselling across the entire product portfolio
  • Demonstrate specific efficiency, CO₂, and cost benefits to customers
  • Work closely with KALO’s operational field service organization to ensure customer-focused implementation of installation processes, modernization projects, and product rollouts

Requirements:

  • At least five years of B2B sales experience with technical products or services that require explanation
  • Ideally, experience in energy efficiency, IoT, or comparable solutions
  • Good knowledge of the residential property management or energy sectors; alternatively, experience in a related technical field
  • Clear communication skills and strong powers of persuasion
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics in a way appropriate to the target audience
  • Strong customer and closing orientation, with the ability to identify and leverage cross-selling and upselling opportunities
  • Technical aptitude
  • Willingness to become familiar with digital heating systems, Smart Heating technologies, and hydraulic balancing
  • Solution-oriented mindset, initiative, and decisiveness
  • Residence within the territory between Rostock, Waren, Neuruppin, and Ludwigslust
  • CV including salary expectations and availability or notice period
