Job Description
Benefits Specialist supporting OneSource Virtual’s Workday customers with benefits, HR inquiries, and audit requests. Delivering Tier 1 and 2 service through case management and contact center tools.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Employee Services Team using Workday, case management, knowledge base, and contact center technologies and processes
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Workday access/navigation, benefits, and general HR inquiries
- Respond accurately and promptly to written and telephone inquiries
- Research and provide responses using the knowledge base
- Escalate unresolved inquiries to the Account Manager or Pod Manager
- Provide professional and timely service for internal audit requests
- Participate in work intake reviews to automate audit activities and reporting
- Communicate audit-related issues to leadership
- Participate in ongoing functional-area training
- Build partnerships within the department and organization
- Identify and document process improvement or automation opportunities
- Meet or exceed performance standards
- Perform other duties assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
- High school diploma required
- 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of employee benefits, COBRA, and other federal/regulatory requirements
- Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and HRIS
- Effective communication skills via telephone, email, and in-person
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt and maintain a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and professionalism skills
- Punctuality and adherence to a set schedule, with extra hours as needed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment and manage sensitive, confidential issues
- Analytical, research, and follow-up skills
- Ability to multitask
- Bachelor's degree preferred
