Job Description
Business Development Manager responsible for revenue growth and relationship building in IPP and Developer sectors for energy storage solutions. Collaborating with internal teams and representing FlexGen at events.
Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities within the IPP industry
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop and execute strategic plans
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions for energy storage deployments
- Represent FlexGen at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings (~60% travel expected)
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and customer needs in the IPP and energy storage sectors
Requirements:
- Minimum of BS degree in engineering or technical field
- Minimum of 4 years of working experience; 1+ years of experience in the IPP space
- Experience with electric power, renewable energy (solar, wind, and battery)
- Executed BESS projects in the IPP & Developer Space
- Ability to effectively communicate in formal and informal setting
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Customer management experience
- High proficiency with Office, Excel, Power Point, and customer resource management programs (i.e. salesforce.com)
