Job Description

Business Development Representative focusing on sales in the food industry at Cargill. Developing business plans and collaborating cross-functionally for sales growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to increasing sales and revenue from new and existing market segments and channels
  • Help shape business expansion strategies and provide input into the company's annual business development plans
  • Develop ways to increase sales and revenue from new customers
  • Develop and implement business plans, work cross functionally with marketing and technical teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum requirement of 3 years of relevant work experience, typically reflects 4 years or more of relevant experience
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight up to 25%
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Package
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, technical service or business development in the food & beverage industry focused on food ingredients
