Job Description

Business Domain Owner for People & Asset responsible for translating business needs into digital solutions. Engage with stakeholders and ensure high-quality implementations collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

  • In this role you are responsible for the business-led development of the People & Asset domain and act as the central interface between the business and IT.
  • You structure requirements, set clear priorities, and ensure that diverse needs are transformed into effective digital solutions.
  • Responsible for the business-side advancement of the People & Asset domain in close partnership with the technical counterpart (DDO).
  • Collect and jointly refine requirements from the business areas in a structured way and consolidate them into a consistent overall picture.
  • Critically assess incoming requirements and prioritize them based on value, effort, dependencies, and available implementation capacity.
  • Make well-founded prioritization decisions and create transparency when there are conflicts between value, requirements, and resources.
  • Ensure that business requirements are clearly described and optimally prepared for digital implementation.
  • Work closely with relevant interfaces to ensure high implementation quality and speed.
  • Identify cross-domain impacts early—especially when changes in other domains affect core commercial or HR systems—and actively manage initiatives, dependencies, and priorities, including promoting systemic improvements across the business.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of commercial contexts and a good sense for company-wide HR-related and business processes.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable solutions.
  • Openness to HR systems and personnel software, with confidence navigating process-driven system landscapes.
  • Ability to capture business requirements precisely, prepare them in a structured manner, and evaluate them critically.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the willingness to drive decisions and take a clear position, even when objectives conflict.
  • Confident stakeholder management with the ability to bring different perspectives together and to act effectively at the interface between business units and digital implementation.
  • Clear, decisive and solution-oriented communication combined with sufficient experience to quickly make an impact and to consolidate topics and derive sustainable priorities.
