Job Description

Business Process & Quality Specialist optimizing operational efficiency and ensuring quality standards for Sandvik Mining. Analyzing, designing, and implementing business processes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analyses of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Design and document optimized processes, workflows, and procedures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures.
  • Monitor process adherence and performance against established quality standards and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead and support continuous improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant frameworks.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to foster a culture of quality and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and quality manuals.
  • Generate regular reports on process performance, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with various departments, including operations, IT, and product development, to understand their needs, gather requirements, and ensure successful process implementation and adoption.
  • Ensure all processes and quality systems comply with relevant internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support to employees on new or updated processes and quality procedures to ensure smooth transitions and effective execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business process analysis, quality management, or continuous improvement roles, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Proven experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly desirable), or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart), data analysis software (e.g., Excel, Minitab), and general office productivity suites.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is highly advantageous.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
