Job Description
Enterprise Account Executive selling Samsara’s Connected Operations Cloud to strategic Texas customers. Managing complex $100k–$500k sales from prospecting through executive-level close.
Responsibilities:
- Help strategic enterprise customers consolidate outdated technologies, digitize workflows, and use data insights to transform operations
- Manage complex sales involving proofs of concept, multiple stakeholders, trials, pricing negotiations, and executive/CXO selling
- Develop executive-level relationships within strategic named accounts
- Own customer engagements end-to-end, from prospecting and qualification through close
- Execute solution-based sales processes in complex sales campaigns
- Conduct strategic outbound prospecting and research to expand the pipeline
- Champion and embed Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally and across new offices
- Travel monthly to meet customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement in complex accounts and $100k+ ARR transactions
- Experience handling and owning enterprise deal sizes and C-Level relationships
- Willing and comfortable with strategic outbound prospecting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Willing and comfortable traveling to meet customers monthly
- Experience with line-of-business stakeholders in Operations, Finance, or IT is advantageous
- Awards for top achievement are advantageous
- Legal right to work at Samsara and in the specified work location
