Job Description
Country HR Manager providing strategic HR solutions and compliance guidance for Gartner Canada. Engaging with business leaders to drive employee strategies and ensure legal risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Provide local expertise to guide best practices and ensure legal compliance in support of people programs and processes
- Lead internal communications for Canada, acting as a focal point for people announcements, policies and procedures
- Proactively manage legal risk and continually ensure compliance with local labor laws
- Build and maintain effective partnerships to educate HR Partners, managers and associates on employee related issues
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and associates, providing guidance on HR best practices
Requirements:
- Business level fluency in English and French (written and verbal) is required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., CPHR) ideal
- 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Familiarity with the nuances of multiple provincial employment practices and requirements strongly preferred
