Job Description
Email Marketing Specialist creating email and SMS campaigns for OuterBox agency clients. Managing Klaviyo workflows, compliance, performance monitoring, and campaign optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, and build email and SMS marketing campaigns and workflows
- Align campaigns with brand guidelines, user lifecycle touchpoints, and marketing goals
- Collaborate with the Client Success Manager, designers, and other team members
- Integrate campaign execution with marketing strategies and customer journey mapping
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members and stakeholders
- Ensure email designs meet brief requirements and objectives
- Monitor campaign and workflow performance for quality and effectiveness
- Make optimization recommendations as necessary
- Ensure campaigns comply with industry best practices and legal standards, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR where applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience preferred; exemplary performance may supersede the experience requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience with email service provider Klaviyo
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and MailChimp
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Writing skills are required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and time management skills
- Accountability for ensuring brand and design standards are met on every project
- Keeps updated with the latest trends in email marketing
- Must be located in the USA
- Must be able to work without employer-sponsored employment visa sponsorship
- Knowledge of cross-inbox and cross-device compatibility
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS best practices for email templates
- Basic understanding of A/B testing practices
- Understanding of email authentication protocols
- Good grasp of web analytics and experience with Google Analytics
