Job Description
Senior Email Marketing Specialist driving MailerLite’s email campaigns, automations, lead magnets, and list growth. Optimizing performance and content for the global email marketing platform.
Responsibilities:
- Manage email campaigns from creation and writing through launch, measurement, and optimization
- Build and nurture automations that convert prospects into customers
- Maintain and update existing automations
- Own lead magnets end to end, including ideation, copywriting or writer briefing, and maintenance
- Identify email list growth opportunities
- Build forms, pop-ups, and landing pages to convert visitors into subscribers
- Organize and maintain MailerLite accounts
- Build segmentation and interest groups and tailor messaging, tone, and cadence to audience segments and industries
- Partner with writers to brief and produce blog content
- Review and improve existing email-marketing content and develop advanced topics
- Develop original email-marketing angles that attract citations and search-engine attention
- Measure performance, define KPIs, analyze campaigns, and implement improvements
- Maintain deliverability standards and industry best practices
- Monitor email marketing features, research, trends, and community discussions and apply insights to content and strategy
- Coordinate with the Email Lifecycle Manager to keep marketing and product/lifecycle email consistent without overlap
Requirements:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing
- Ideally experience in a SaaS company where email was a core growth channel
- Strong writing portfolio demonstrating personally written newsletters or campaigns that performed well
- Proven experience growing an email list organically
- Experience building segmentation and creating lead magnets
- Sharp editorial eye and ability to substantially improve content
- Genuine, ongoing curiosity about email marketing and willingness to test new approaches
- Comfortable writing hands-on and briefing others
- Experience with MailerLite or another ESP
- 4 hours of overlap with the CET time zone
