Job Description
Business Development Representative generating meetings for Hotel Account Executives focused on independent hotel segment at Toast. Involves outbound prospecting and sales strategy development.
Responsibilities:
- 100% outbound prospecting to book qualified meetings for our sales team.
- Generate interest through cold calling and other outreach methods to break into net new hotel accounts (70+ outreaches per day).
- Schedule and confirm discovery calls, owning the process until the meeting occurs.
- Use sales tools and research to find new contacts and build your call list.
- Maintain persistent, organized follow-up to re-engage accounts.
- Log all activity and update account info in Salesforce.com.
- Partner with Hotel Account Executives to refine your target account lists and prospecting strategies.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Software/SaaS experience or other related tech space business experience in an outbound sales role.
- Fearless and persistent on the phone.
- A true hunter who can identify and connect with key decision-makers like owners and GMs.
- Well-organized and self-motivated to consistently exceed daily activity goals.
- Adaptable and able to build strong internal and external relationships.
- High customer empathy and excellent objection-handling skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
