Job Description

Executive Director responsible for engaging MGA relationships and delivering revenue growth in Trustmark's growing business. Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to maximize opportunities and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for engaging new and re-energizing existing Managing General Agent (MGA) relationships via sales and marketing tactics
  • Delivers significant sales & revenue growth within 24 months
  • Develop specific plans to execute on the MGA strategies that drive significant new revenue growth
  • Develop and analyze strategic drivers for profitability on existing accounts
  • Drive strategic methods to expand the number of relationships currently working with Trustmark
  • Develop targeted methods to build strategic relationships with key decision makers within MGA and National Brokerage firms
  • Act as day-to-day liaison with MGA Principals and National Brokerage Leads for product knowledge and our sales processes
  • Collaborate with marketing team to implement successful promotions and campaigns

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferably in a business-related area
  • 10+ years of Group Medical and Employee Benefits experience
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain mutually respectful relationships
  • Previous experience managing a General Agency channel relationship
  • Possesses superb interpersonal and communications skills
  • Working knowledge of CRM Systems
  • Working knowledge of PCs, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint software
  • Willingness to travel 25 – 75% of time (depending on home location)
