Job Description
Feed Sales Intern working at Purina generating sales with national retailers. Collaborating with management while traveling to accounts in Indiana, Ohio, and Illinois.
Responsibilities:
- Execute projects to promote Purina to grow and generate sales with national retailers such as Tractor Supply Co and Regional Farm and Ranch accounts
- Participate in sales calls and assist with market analysis/research
- Provide strategic feedback on product portfolio, generating an increase in market share
Requirements:
- Junior undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in animal science, agriculture, or business-related field
- Ability to travel up to 75% to visit top accounts
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and traverse on uneven ground
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license and have and maintain a satisfactory driving record
