Job Description
Field Sales Manager leading the UK pharmacy field sales team at Fleming Medical. Driving growth, developing key accounts and fostering high-performing team dynamics in healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a UK-wide team of Field Sales Representatives to achieve sales targets
- Build and manage strategic relationships with pharmacy buying groups, national chains, and key independent accounts
- Identify and convert new business opportunities to drive sustainable growth
- Deliver performance reports, sales forecasts, and commercial insights to Directors
- Support team development through coaching and performance management
- Collaborate with the internal sales team on territory planning and customer engagement
- Deliver CRM and product training for new starters and identify ongoing training needs
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sector opportunities
- Attend quarterly sales meetings at Head Office or offsite in UK.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a senior sales leadership or commercial management
- Third-level qualification in business, sales, marketing, or a related field
- Proven success managing field sales teams within pharmacy, healthcare, FMCG, or medical sectors
- Strong track record in key account development and national growth strategies
- Commercially astute with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Full, clean driving licence
