Job Description
AbbVie pharmaceutical field representative promoting Neurotoxins/Migraine treatments to neurologists and urologists. Building customer relationships, delivering medical training, and achieving regional sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new customers
- Provide specialist information, present, and promote the product to neurologists and urologists in private practices and hospitals
- Design, organize, and conduct professional training events
- Provide training for physicians in practices and hospitals
- Work closely with all functions within the in-field team
- Develop, align on, and implement a territory plan within the in-field team
- Gather market information and customer insights, and assess each customer’s position in the sales cycle
- Share responsibility for achieving regional goals
- Provide professional reporting and complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time
- Comply with all applicable requirements, laws, and regulatory obligations, including ethics, compliance, and Code of Business Conduct procedures
Requirements:
- Successfully completed university degree in a natural science
- Completed pharmaceutical representative training or the required expertise pursuant to Section 75 of the German Medicinal Products Act (Arzneimittelgesetz)
- Successful field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not an absolute requirement
- Ability to present complex scientific information appropriately to different target audiences and discuss it with diverse customer groups
- Strong powers of persuasion and a results-driven personality with excellent communication skills
- High level of agility and motivation to pursue and achieve goals
- Strong digital and analytical skills combined with creativity
- Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong drive for success, including a commitment to personal development within the company
- Flexibility, commitment, and team spirit
- Very good written and spoken English
- Ability to inspire others, empathy, and enthusiasm for sales
