Job Description

HR business partner recruiting hourly manufacturing talent for Georgia-Pacific, a global paper and building-products manufacturer. Developing sourcing strategies, candidate experiences, and HR compliance solutions for US operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the business vision of achieving a qualified, talented hourly workforce
  • Develop and execute proactive hourly talent strategies
  • Develop and optimize practices for effective customer support
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across the US, partnering with hiring supervisors on recruitment and sourcing strategies
  • Assess external and internal candidates against business needs and evaluate culture fit and knowledge
  • Coach and influence hiring managers while maintaining effective communication
  • Manage candidate engagement and deliver a positive, responsive, inclusive candidate experience
  • Collaborate with HR teams and business partners to identify talent gaps and build short- and long-term recruiting initiatives
  • Build credibility and trust with the workforce and leaders
  • Develop business acumen and support business performance results
  • Drive innovation in HR functions and support Koch HR Vision and myHR transformation efforts
  • Create solutions enabling teams to deliver business objectives
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Leverage data-driven solutions to advance results
  • Identify HR compliance risks and develop gap-closure plans
  • Interpret policies and practices, drive standardization, and eliminate waste

Requirements:

  • Three (3) or more years of HR/recruiting-related experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Experience working with a unionized workforce preferred
  • SHRM certifications preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources preferred
  • Ability to support a 25%-30% travel requirement
  • Successful completion of a drug test may be required where permitted by state law
