Job Description

HR Generalist supporting employee lifecycle operations across APAC for BlueMatrix, which builds investment research software. Coordinating HR processes, compliance, payroll, recruitment, and engagement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted HR point of contact for employees and managers across APAC
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding and development through performance management and offboarding
  • Ensure HR operations comply with local labor laws and regulations across APAC jurisdictions
  • Contribute to a consistent and engaging employee experience aligned with BlueMatrix’s global culture
  • Partner with the global HR team to roll out company-wide initiatives and adapt them to regional needs
  • Use HR data and insights to identify trends and support informed decision-making
  • Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system
  • Coordinate interviews, hiring-manager communication, and candidate communications
  • Assist with performance review cycles
  • Respond to employee queries regarding contracts, benefits, leave entitlements, and HR policies
  • Coordinate with payroll providers and finance teams for accurate, timely payroll processing
  • Track and report HR metrics including headcount, attrition, and time-to-hire
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and regional team events
  • Draft and update HR policies and documentation
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies, benefits providers, and legal advisors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of HR fundamentals, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance
  • Familiarity with labor laws and employment regulations in at least one APAC jurisdiction, such as the Philippines, India, Japan, Australia, or New Zealand
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Microsoft 365, including Excel for HR reporting and data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Comfortable working across time zones and collaborating with remote and distributed teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Adaptability in a fast-growing, international environment
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization
