Job Description

HR Intern supporting the People Business Partner team at Chess.com. Involves HR lifecycle support and project contributions for the tech-focused organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the PBP team across the full HR lifecycle (onboarding, performance cycles, employee check-ins)
  • Helping keep our org units well-supported with a focus on tech
  • Maintaining clean data in HR systems and pulling reports
  • Documenting and tracking HR processes, coaching conversations, and role changes
  • Contributing to team projects like building resources, improving templates, and researching policy questions

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Communications, or something adjacent
  • Organized, thorough, and good at keeping a lot of moving pieces straight
  • Clear and professional writing skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Curiosity about HR and people operations as a career
