Job Description
HR Services Advisor supporting German employee lifecycle, payroll, and compliance services. Safeguard Global helps companies hire, manage, and pay employees worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, leave, and offboarding, ensuring compliance with local requirements.
- Act as a trusted HR contact for clients and workers, providing guidance on policies, employment matters, and German HR practices.
- Partner with the HR Services Manager, Payroll, Benefits, and regional teams to ensure accurate and timely service delivery.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, policies, and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and privacy compliance.
- Support payroll, benefits, audits, and monthly HR processes with accurate and timely inputs.
- Take a proactive, consultative approach to client queries, identifying risks and developing practical solutions.
- Contribute to process improvements, HR projects, and employee engagement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, or a similar role.
- Good knowledge of German employment practices, labour law, and HR compliance.
- Experience with employee lifecycle processes and HRIS/HR systems.
- German B1/B2 and fluent English – essential.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive, collaborative, and client-focused mindset.
