Job Description
Part-time Human Resources Coordinator managing recruiting, onboarding, training, and compliance. Supporting BPM-PR Firm, a New York-based public relations agency with global media reach.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day hiring pipeline
- Post and update job listings and distribute them to applicable job boards
- Review resumes and applications and identify strongest candidates
- Move candidates through the hiring pipeline from application to offer
- Maintain applicant pipeline by tagging, advancing and declining candidates
- Conduct on-camera prescreens for client-facing roles
- Screen candidates against fashion, beauty, lifestyle and wellness verticals
- Send written assessments, track deadlines and follow up on completion
- Attach assessments and prescreen notes to interview emails for CEO review
- Schedule interviews with Directors and the CEO and keep candidates informed
- Prepare offer letters and send them for electronic signature
- Source candidates and draft interview questions and job descriptions
- Maintain completed onboarding packets and manage new-hire documents
- Set up workers' compensation, review employee manuals and policies
- Set up new hires in ADP RUN and coordinate payroll documentation
- Set up team trainings and assign them to team members
- Help create training pipelines and track completion
- Assist with annual reviews and track completion
- Support compliance with employment regulations for remote employees across multiple states
- Maintain organized, current and confidential employee records
- Provide weekly check-in and check-out updates
- Report directly to the CEO
Requirements:
- One to three years of HR, recruiting or hiring coordination experience
- Strong resume review skills and ability to quickly spot qualified candidates
- Ability to manage high applicant volume and keep candidates moving through a hiring pipeline
- Experience with ADP RUN for payroll and employee records strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of U.S. HR compliance, including multi-state requirements for remote employees
- Experience building or managing employee training programs
- Experience supporting onboarding and annual performance reviews
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort learning new HR, training and project management platforms quickly
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and sound judgment with confidential information
- Ability to work within a multi-faceted and extremely fast-paced environment
