Job Description

Key Account Manager growing strategic industrial accounts for Stäubli’s connectors, robotics, fluid, and textile solutions. Managing Northeast U.S. customers across aerospace, semiconductor, automotive, and healthcare manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account growth plans
  • Identify, secure, and expand major regional accounts
  • Build relationships with engineering, operations, procurement, and executive stakeholders
  • Create new business opportunities within target industries
  • Understand customer applications and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Qualify and advance strategic opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and account terms
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer service teams
  • Represent the company at customer sites, trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Support national account growth initiatives as needed
  • Travel throughout the United States and Canada for at least 50% of the role

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of successful field sales, key account management, or business development experience
  • Proven success developing and securing strategic customer relationships
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Experience managing complex customer organizations and long sales cycles
  • Strong communication skills with technical, operational, and executive-level stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and CRM systems
  • Ability to travel extensively by automobile and air throughout the assigned territory
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and other business events
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, including a computer and telephone
  • Ability to occasionally lift and transport product samples, sales materials, and trade show materials up to 25 pounds
  • Candidate should be located within the Northeast U.S. region
  • Must be authorized to conduct business travel in both the United States and Canada
  • Valid passport with no travel restrictions
