Job Description
Retail Learning Manager at The Hershey Company focusing on innovative learning programs and retail excellence while ensuring training aligns with business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Execute needs analysis using interviews, focus groups, surveys etc., to assess current and future skills needs for the global audience
- Research and apply external best practices and innovation within learning and development, and adult learning theory.
- Drive thought leadership on best methods to develop retail capabilities.
- Design innovative and transformative learning programs and experiences that drive business results.
- Create learning content individually or collaborate with subject matter experts to create content that is applicable, practical, and drives measurable outcomes.
- Deliver virtual, face-to-face, and/or asynchronous learning content.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development or in related area of study required (i.e., Instructional Systems Design, HR, I/O Psychology)
- 5 - 7 years of Increased responsibility within learning & development or a retail sales organization
- 5 years of experience working with Retail, Sales, Category Management and/or Commercial teams/organizations
- Experience assessing performance gaps, analyzing learning needs, designing and developing interventions, and evaluating the effectiveness of Retail, Sales, Category Management, and/or Commercial learning programs.
- Strong platform training and facilitation skills in virtual, face-to-face, and asynchronous modalities
