Job Description
Market Manager supporting strategic sales targets and mentoring a team of Trade Specialists at Stanley Black & Decker in Columbus, OH.
Responsibilities:
- Support National and Regional strategic plans to achieve individual and team top line sales targets.
- Establish, develop and maintain key relationships with end user partners through product and services solutions.
- Develop, coach and mentor the team of Trade Specialists reporting directly to you to achieve KPI’s, deliverables and targets.
- Complete effective “work withs” monthly at a minimum with the end goal of training, developing, and motivating the team to take market share.
- Act as the local product line expert for all lines.
- Maintain daily communication lines with the Regional Market Manager on business and employee opportunities and risks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing for Construction Supplies with a proven track record delivering results preferred; prior management/team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal and written communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Valid Driver's License and physical ability to travel at least 50% of the month within territory assignment.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications; Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
- Experience with SalesForce, PowerBI, Showpad Coach or other CRM/sales optimization system preferred.
- Able to relocate for future roles over time.
