Job Description
Product marketing expert designing and evaluating simulated marketing environments for Mercor. Creating task briefs, rubrics, and AI-agent assessments to train frontier models.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on actual product marketing work
- Define what each task tests, including planted issues and decisions a strong practitioner should make
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against expert standards
- Create and pressure-test Product Marketing environments
- Work across diagnosing messy or conflicting data, prioritization and tradeoffs, planning and execution, QA and reconciliation, triage and escalation, research and evaluation, reporting, and multi-step orchestration across tools
- Cover win/loss analysis, positioning, launch readiness and execution, adoption analysis, and competitive response
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in product marketing, including ownership of launches, positioning, and enablement
- Comfortable working across a CRM such as Salesforce
- Comfortable working across product analytics such as Amplitude
- Comfortable working across a project tracker such as Asana or Linear
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning
- Successful completion of a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the sub-domain
- Must be engaged as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
