Job Description
Product marketing expert designing simulated environments for Mercor’s AI training projects. Creating task briefs, rubrics, and evaluations covering launches, positioning, adoption, and competitive response.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs based on real product marketing work
- Define what each task tests, including planted issues and decisions a strong practitioner should make
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong ones
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against professional standards
- Create environments covering diagnosis of messy or conflicting data, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, QA, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and multi-tool orchestration
- Develop Product Marketing environments focused on win/loss analysis, positioning, launch readiness, launch execution, adoption analysis, and competitive response
- Work on projects training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in product marketing
- Experience owning product launches, positioning, and enablement
- Comfortable working across a CRM such as Salesforce
- Comfortable working with product analytics such as Amplitude
- Comfortable working with a project tracker such as Asana or Linear
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the sub-domain
- Must be engaged as an independent contractor
- Mercor cannot support H1-B or STEM OPT candidates at this time
