Job Description
Product marketing expert designing realistic AI-agent evaluation environments for Mercor. Creating briefs, rubrics, and simulated workflows across launches, positioning, adoption, and competitive response.
Responsibilities:
- Design task briefs drawn from actual product marketing work
- Define what each task tests, including planted issues and decisions a strong practitioner should make
- Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states required for realistic tasks
- Write or review reference answers and criteria distinguishing strong responses from plausible-but-wrong responses
- Review AI agent attempts and evaluate them against practitioner standards
- Develop and pressure-test Product Marketing environments for evaluating and improving AI agents
- Address win/loss analysis, positioning, launch readiness and execution, adoption analysis, and competitive response
- Work across tasks involving diagnosis, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, QA, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, evaluation, reporting, and multi-tool orchestration
Requirements:
- Hands-on practitioner experience in product marketing; owned launches, positioning, and enablement
- Comfortable working across a CRM such as Salesforce
- Comfortable working with product analytics such as Amplitude
- Comfortable working with a project tracker such as Asana or Linear
- Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies strongly preferred
- Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification strongly preferred
- Clear written reasoning and ability to explain why a decision is right
- Must complete a short multiple-choice knowledge screener specific to the sub-domain
- Must be engaged as an independent contractor
