Job Description
Medical Sales Representative at AstraZeneca promoting primary care products and improving patient outcomes in Mauricie/Lanaudière through effective sales strategies and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement your territory sales management plan to meet or exceed sales objectives for your territory.
- Promote our primary care product portfolio and educate our customers.
- Communicate product information to physicians, pharmacists and hospital-based influencers.
- Identify unmet needs and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team, colleagues at headquarters and key influencers.
- Share field activity information with your team and partners to improve ways of working.
- Analyze, plan and execute activities designed to drive commercial success.
- Collect and report adverse events.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical product sales required; preferably within the pharmaceutical sector; CFPC certification preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized college or university.
- Proven, consistent track record of sales performance.
- Strong business acumen and analytical expertise.
- Demonstrated leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- Experience launching new products.
- Strong technical skills; proficient with Microsoft Office (including Excel and PowerPoint) and digital meeting platforms such as Veeva Engage, Teams, Zoom, etc.
- Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
- Travel to national, regional and corporate offices may be required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
